About Our Medical Advocacy Team
At Zion HealthShare, we understand that navigating medical costs can be overwhelming, especially when providers require payment upfront for expensive procedures. That’s where our Medical Advocacy Team comes in. We help members by locating fair cost providers, coordinating pre-payments with your chosen provider, ensuring a seamless process so you can focus on your health. For eligible medical expenses, we issue a virtual credit card or pay directly at the time of service, so you don’t have to pay for large costs upfront.

Medical Advocacy is a service available to all Zion HealthShare members. Taking advantage of this included benefit is easy.

Why Use Medical Advocacy?
- No Upfront Costs for Eligible Expenses After IUA is Met – We coordinate payments so you don’t have to pay large bills upfront.
- Work With Your Provider – Already have a doctor or specialist? We’ll arrange payment directly with them.
- Find a Self-Pay Provider – If you’re struggling to find a provider, we may be able to locate providers near you we’ve previously worked with that offer fair costs for self-pay patients.
- Keeping Healthcare Affordable – By using fair cost providers, we help keep monthly contributions lower for all Zion HealthShare members.
