We joined the Zion Health share community in December 2024.  The onboarding process with Whitney was educational, informative, transparent, and highly communicative. In March 2026, I tore my lateral meniscus and required meniscus repair surgery.  Zion Health Share provided an easy-to-use member portal to create a sharing request, and provided a REAL PERSON (Veronica) to be my personal point of contact for the process.  I was able to select the surgeon of my choice, and worked with my preferred physical therapist and acupuncturist post-surgery for a healthy recovery. Again, a REAL PERSON with a real phone number and personal extension line, real email, and real-time availability. Do you get that with today's health insurance world? Anyways, I paid the Initial Unsharable Amount (IUA), and the rest was taken care of by Zion Health Share with the help of Veronica along the way.  Zion even provided a pre-pay credit card to pay the BIG expense of the actual surgery on the day of surgery! For the following six months, I paid for PT, acupuncture, and a couple of lingering medical bills that arrived in my mailbox (post-op visits, anesthesia, etc).  I simply uploaded the appropriate documentation to my Zion Health Share portal's Sharing Request, and received monthly communication from Veronica (phone and email) regarding what additional documents may be needed for approval.  The communication was clear and direct with additional steps needed to get the post-surgery expenses reimbursed. Most importantly, Zion Health Share lived up to the agreements of the Sharing request, and reimbursed all expenses beyond my IUA amount!  No surprises, no funny business! Truly, I could not be happier with my experience, and working with Zion Health Share was the exact opposite of any previous experiences I have had carrying traditional health insurance for me and my family.  Now my brother is part of the Zion Health Share community, and I will continue to refer friends and family! THANK YOU ZION HEALTH! When a regular medical event turned catastrophic, and then kept getting worse and worse, the medical bills were astronomical. I was sure that was when Zion Healthshare would tap out, but instead, they paid their part, as they said they would, without a fuss. I was beyond relieved and thankful. We have had Kaiser Permanente, Blue Cross Blue shield and other providers over the many years. Zion HealthShare by far has been the best! They respond quickly and are very pleasant and thorough to talk to. My wife and I are now on Medicare because of her age. If we were younger, we would 100% still be with Zion HealthShare. Was tired of paying $2,000 for Obama care (pre-tax credit expiration) and still having a high deductible and max out of pocket expenses....  When the tax credits expired, Government "affordable" health was not doable, so I went out on a limb and signed up for Zion.  Seven months in, I had an accident tearing my bicep requiring an ER visit, MRI and surgery through an orthopedist.  Zion came through and covered ALL expenses minus my IUA.  I was even reimbursed for some initial out of pocket expenses I had to pay up front.  I am extremely pleased with Zion and would not hesitate to recommend to close friends or family!

This was the first time I've used Zion HealthShare and I had a great experience.  Customer service and communication is far superior to any prior Health Insurance I've had.  Yes I did need to do a little more work to stay organized, but once I handed things over to Zion they were very prompt in responses and keeping me informed during the process which was amazing fast compared to prior health insurance lead times.

We have been members nearly 3 years now. I can’t say enough good things about Zion Healthshare! From great customer service to easy submission processes, I highly recommend them to anyone looking to finally have a positive experience with healthcare! Never going back to insurance. Their customer service representatives are easy to understand, helpful, forward thinking, and congenial.
