Marketing Manager, Zion HealthShare

ZION HEALTHSHARE has introduced its Member Ambassador Program as a way to recognize and thank members who help grow the community by sharing their experiences. The program rewards members who refer friends, family members, or colleagues who go on to become active Zion HealthShare members.

Through the Member Ambassador Program, referring members can receive appreciation gifts when a new household they refer joins Zion HealthShare and remains active for 60 days. The program applies to new referrals who enrolled on or after November 24, 2025, and is available to eligible members in approved states.

This reflects Zion HealthShare’s community driven approach to healthcare, where members often share their experiences organically with people they know and trust. Zion HealthShare aims to recognize those personal connections that help others discover an alternative to traditional insurance.

“Our members are often our best advocates because they talk about their experiences in a very real, personal way,” says Ashton Price, manager of the Marketing team, “This program is simply a way to say thank you to the people who take the time to share what Zion HealthShare has meant to them and help others feel more confident exploring Zion HealthShare.”

How the Member Ambassador Program Works

Participation in the Member Ambassador Program is simple. Members refer someone they know by sharing information about Zion HealthShare. When the referred household enrolls and completes 60 days of active membership, the referring member becomes eligible to receive an appreciation gift.

These are typically issued two to four weeks after the referral has been verified and each household may earn up to five total appreciation gifts over the lifetime of the program.

Eligibility Requirements

Members must be active and in good standing with Zion HealthShare at the time the appreciation gift is issued. The referred household must be new to Zion HealthShare, with no prior enrollments, and must remain active for 60 days while completing two full months of contributions.

Participation in the program is voluntary and is not a condition of membership.

Submitting a Referral

Referring members must submit a referral form within 90 days of the referred household’s membership start date. The form must include the referring member’s full name and email address as listed on their Zion HealthShare account, along with the referred household’s name, email address, and ZIP code.

Company Referral Guidelines

Companies may also enter the ambassador program by following a few specific guidelines.

A referred company counts as one referral regardless of the number of households that enroll. The company must remain active for 60 consecutive days, and at least two households must enroll under the company for the referral to qualify.

Household and Program Limits

There are some limitations on the program per household. Each Zion HealthShare household is eligible for a maximum of five appreciation gifts for the lifetime of the Member Ambassador Program.

Program Availability and Restrictions

There are some restrictions with certain states so residents of Washington, Montana, Massachusetts, Maryland, New Mexico, or Pennsylvania are not eligible for this program.
