Member feedback made it clear that we needed to make virtual care easier to access. We listened, and we are taking action by working directly with Teladoc to simplify the experience. This transition strengthens an important member resource and will help members connect with care more quickly when they need it.
Zion HealthShare will begin working directly with Teladoc to provide virtual General Medicine services to eligible members beginning October 1, 2026.
Members with Virtual Care currently access Teladoc services through Primestin Care. The new direct relationship will reduce the number of steps involved in setting up and accessing virtual care, allowing Zion HealthShare members to connect with Teladoc providers more quickly.
Virtual Care will remain included for members who currently have this service through Zion HealthShare. Members do not need to sign up for or pay for a separate Primestin Care subscription to continue accessing virtual General Medicine visits through their Zion HealthShare membership. These vists will continue through Zion HealthShare’s direct relationship with Teladoc beginning October 1, 2026.

Through Teladoc, eligible members will continue to have unlimited, 24/7 access to General Medicine visits by phone or video at $0 per visit. The service is included with all Direct Memberships and is available as an add-on to Essential Memberships.
The transition reflects Zion HealthShare’s continued focus on improving the resources available to its members. By working directly with Teladoc, Zion HealthShare will have a more direct connection to the virtual care experience and a clearer path for helping members access the service.
The final day for members to access Virtual Care through Primestin Care will be September 30, 2026. Direct access through Teladoc will begin October 1, 2026.
Eligible members will receive additional information directly from Zion HealthShare before the change takes effect.
