As a member, you should be receiving an invite to set up your new member portal account. If you need immediate access to your member portal to submit a sharing request and have not received your invite to the new portal, please use the chat in the bottom right-hand corner for assistance.

What documentation do I need to submit a sharing request?
No documentation is initially required, however, any related documentation available should be submitted with the sharing request. Zion HealthShare may request other documentation that may be required through the sharing request process. Document types can include payment receipts, bills, medical records, treatment plans, and itemized statements.
When do I pay my IUA?
You can pay your IUA directly to Zion HealthShare or your provider directly. If you pay your provider directly, please submit an itemized statement with payment receipts to verify the IUA payment.
Is my medical need shareable? 
Each sharing request will go through an individual determination to be deemed eligible or ineligible for sharing. For more information, please review our Member Guidelines before submitting a sharing request.Â

Please log in to your Member Portal for updates on your sharing request status. In your Member Portal, you can track the status of your sharing requests and submit supporting documentation.
What do I tell my provider about Zion HealthShare?
Zion HealthShare is not insurance, so you should tell your provider you are a self-pay patient. That way, you can obtain self-pay discounts on services, which allows Zion HealthShare to keep membership contributions low.
How long does it take Zion HealthShare to share in my medical expenses?Â
Zion HealthShare makes processing sharing request quickly our highest priority. We may experience times of higher volume but work with urgency when paying your bills. To expedite the process, please check the status of your sharing request frequently through your Member Portal for updates and additional documentation requests.
How do I submit a sharing request if I signed up for Zion HealthShare through an affiliate or my company?
Regardless of how you join Zion HealthShare, whether you joined through our website, an affiliate, or through a company, all sharing requests must be submitted through your member portal. For assistance in accessing your member portal, please call Member Care at (888) 920-9466.
How do I submit a sharing request if I have traditional insurance too?
Members must submit a sharing request within six months of any medical need. At the time of submitting your sharing request, please inform Zion HealthShare of any additional coverage (which may include health insurance, third-party administrator, or government assistance plans). Your insurance provider, or the responsible parties insurance provider, will be primarily responsible for the payment of your medical expenses. Upon final payment by the primary insurance, Zion HealthShare will review remaining expenses for eligibility for sharing. Please make sure that you submit a sharing request and all subsequent medical bills/statements through your member portal within six months of any medical need.
